Knicks aren’t drafting Jackson at least not with the 2nd pick.......if we can trade that no. 2 and restock then I can see us getting him mid teens or early 2nd. I think they try to go with Eli next year for two more years and then send him to pastures.

Eli probably has more of a chance of being the Jets' QB next year than the Giants. He'll say the right things publicly because he's been groomed since birth to and he'll probably finish out the year as the starter, but it's over, been over since McAdoo first waddled into a full meeting and just dropped the bomb instead of pulling him aside to speak to him like a normal human being in that situation would.

It's a shame because he could have been great to keep for one more year for Darnold (making my peace with it even though Lamar >>>> ) to learn behind and from instead of whatever scrub they'll probably now have to sign.

I don’t like the idea of bringing in a 70yr old GM, we need some new young blood. Think outside the box and bring in someone unexpected.

I could be wrong, but he wasn’t the GM when the panthers selected Cam, so definitely expect a “safe” draft pick like Rosen

Come on now....y’all sounding like a bunch of pessimistic NY fans of other teams right now. You trying to say Gettlemen would not have taken Cam with the #1 pick if he had the job that year? Of course he would have.

He’s been a part of nothing but winning football throughout his whole damn career - Bills, Broncos, Giants, Panthers.

I feel like it’s a good/easy/timely hire, and the HC will likely be hired waaaaay early into the offseason. We know who the hot coaching prospects are right now, and anybody who’d hire Mike Smith, Jeff Fisher or John Fox as a HC in 2018 is an idiot.

Sounds like this will be a quick rebuild/rebrand. We back next year, baby.

I don't have an issue with Gettleman individually, but more what hiring him means. This Giant Way shyt ain't worked for a long time now, even dating back before the last SB win.

I do agree there's no way they'll hire Fisher, but the new HC will still 100% be a "safe" white dude over 50. If Mara can find someone with previous ties to the organization or even just the area, even better (at least for him and his comfort zone ). Jim Schwartz seriously might be the most out of the box guy they'll interview.
