I always argued there wasn't much they could have really done with the OL given the talent pool available this past offseason, but the Vikings somehow found five new and so far successful starters, so :francis: @ me trying to give this team a pass.

Based on how awful he did in St Louis and how he was coming off multiple historically terrible defenses?

He's got it working now, now that the D is loaded with talent, but that dude is lucky the Giants even kept him as DC after the 2015 defensive disaster and instead put it all on the players. I never fukked with Fewell too heavily, but he's stuck as a position coach for life (if he even gets to keep that job) after failing less and less epically than Spags spent most of a decade doing. White privilege wouldn't even have begun to cover him being promoted to HC when Coughlin was let go with his resume at that time.
Remember, St. Louis had the worst roster in the league back then. Can't do much with that. I like Perry but he was given his shot as DC and the Giants didn't get where they needed to go. He should have made his case, while Spags has two rings. It makes a difference to people unfortunately.
Yup. I think they'd be in a better place with Spags at the helm over McAdoo. I know Odell was out but I feel like there was no pep in their step on Sunday, I feel like the offense gave up.
McAdoo is not a great motivator and he struggles to adjust.

Spags has the same number of rings as Fewell.

Like I said, I never liked Fewell that much (was all in on him being fired after 2014), but for him to be sent to permanent position coach purgatory if he's lucky while Spags is promoted to HC directly on the heels of coaching one of the very worst defenses in NFL history for that same team, with all his previous failures? Nah. That's some next level :mjpls: shyt.

I'm glad he's got them humming on D right now, but honestly, he had zero business even interviewing for the job like they had him doing with his resume at that time.

I actually agree we have the most aggressive news in this country regardless of sport it's time:hhh:Maybe him being full time OC again may help him relax and expand but gotdamn :snoop:And jackass management NEEDS to say fukk Flowers and go all in to improving the O-line. We really need to start looking at a qb too:to:

Not saying we need to demote Macadoo but they need to tell him to be more aggressive. Remember when he first came here, he had us throw short all day but Coughlin and the front office told him to be more aggressive and throw deep more.

Too many short routes, Eli was never a qb that threw checkdowns and short passes. He always took shots down field.

Flowers was actually alright on Sunday. Hart on the other hand was :hhh:

Spags should have been HC @JerseyBoy23 remember we were talking about this.

:patrice: idk about Spags as HC, he has a really bad track record
