I agree, he plays great in the playoffs, but the elite QB's play great in the regular season as well... Eli had a really good year last year, but again, the elite guys do it every year

Tier 1

Rodgers
Manning
Brady
Brees

Tier 2

Big Ben

Tier 3

Eli (dude is really a Tier 4 QB in terms of ability, but he has 2 rings, so he has his own tier)

Tier 4

Matty Ice
Cam
Romo
Schaub
Stafford
Cutler
Rivers

etc.

I think Eli and Ben belong on the same tier. I also think Romo and Ryan belong in a tier all to themselves, its almost disrespectful to put them on the same level as guys like Stafford and Cutler. Cam, to me, is the most physically talented QB in the league but I wouldn't say he's on that Romo/Ryan level yet either. Schaub is arguable and so is Rivers

you could probably put Romo and Ryan in their own tier, but IMO, they don't separate themselves enough from guys like Stafford or Cam to where I felt like another tier was necessary for them... so I kinda just put them atop of Tier 4; once you get passed a certain point, I feel like QB's 7-15 are all equally capable of both winning and losing you a game on any given week depending on the circumstances

The giants had the 25th ranked defense last year when eli won with them. I don't know why people hype that D up:ehh:

For example his brothers broncos have the 5th Ranked defense this season

And held every single team they've faced in those SB runs including the greatest offense ever to under <=20 points in the playoffs.

He's always been way overrated IMO...along with Cruz.

I honestly thought he was going to fade away and be cut from the Giants back in 2008.

But he does have two rings...I can't argue with results. Plus I'll admit that he is a tremendous clutch deep passer.

When there's one possession left and that dude throws it deep...I'm shook as fuk for the other team. He always seems to complete those at the right time.
