As long as Lebron is playing, his shadow Brian Windhorst has a job at ESPN.

It's like when Barry Bonds was playing and Pedro Gomez followed him as much as possible... A few weeks after he retired, Gomez was hardly on anymore. The same thing will happen to Windhorst.

For what? He's got much better guys at the Ringer who break down film on NBA prospects. and give scouting reports. Surprised at the capes for Ford in here(not necessarily you), dude was awful at his job and that shyt where he got exposed for re-arranging his rankings years after the fact was a bad look for him and the brand.
He's friends with Ford. He could easily have him on a podcast covering college ball

Not tripping off Henry Abbott too much but I rock with the TrueHoop pods heavy, especially during the playoffs

Gheezus...

I already said i boycotted espn a couple years ago but prior to that these two had literally been a staple of my basketball news since i was in high school in '01. Them and Ralph Wiley / Bill Simmons on Page 2. Every damn study hall or in the computer lab after school before bball practice.

The reason i even stumbled on sohh was because of @Skooby posting Chad Ford's Espn Insider articles in '05 :damn:

I really don't know any of these other people who got laid off but seein these two kinda hit me like whoa :picard:

I aint even know Chris Brousard had quit tho :russ: but i guess its why i haven't seen yall mention his name much in a minute

Amin been quiet on twitter :mjpls:
I like Amin (even though he is a Kobe hater) but honestly he doesn't bring much value as an "insider" anymore. He doesn't break news or have very many sources. He doesn't deliver articles or editorials - just things like the 5x5 pieces. He's just a guy who is heavily opinionated and talks about what he sees on league pass.

As much shyt as we give Windhorst, he seems to be fairly plugged in to league these days (not just the Cavs). He has branched off pretty nicely from just being a Lebron leak. He reports and puts things out there first that seem to have some truth to it, and just became a best selling co-author.
