please tell me they got rid of wil cain.
He's still there. I saw him on First Take last week or the week before when I was getting haircut. I don't even know why he's even there. Just a few years ago he was a conservative talking head on CNN and the the blaze but now he's discussing sports?! :why:

So I'll ask you this: for every other sports channel that does most of what you're asking, why don't you watch it? Sounds like you've just outgrown the need for sports television outside of games and in that case, ESPN can't worry about you since neither they nor anyone else can win you back. ESPN needs a larger presence online no doubt, but there's a large segment of people who don't care to be glued to their phones all day or fiending to stream something. Those are the people ESPN has to worry about (and I say "worry" loosely. Too many people are loyal to the four letters to let it go, including many of y'all)

Breh I havent outgrown the need for sports network but i don't wanna watch whatever sportscaster has turned into these days nor these on air cats who all have radio shows. They are fukking trash. The Coliseum is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more entertaining when it has to be and on point with sports discussion when it has to be. ESPN has no Francesa-type who is an older school cat who is on the air/phones wilding out and being entertaining while doing it.

and breh, ESPN needs to worry about winning more than just me back because a ton of people have dipped out on them. Their programming has also gotten flabby and sick at a time when people just kinda wanna watch live sports. Who do you know thats watching entire games front to back?

ESPN needs a platform that simply makes it easier for people to watch live games (without jumping thru hoops) and accessing their library. Look at something like WWE Network....free PPVs and access to and extremely deep library for $10 a month if you're into that stuff. Now I know ESPN has their app and blah blah blah but its more $ on top of the $5-10 a month already built into your cable bill. You wake up in the morning and either a sportscenter re-run is on or SAS/Mike and Mike babbling about bullshyt and being out of touch with everything.

the 24 hour news cycle is dying. I'm :flabbynsick: enough to remember when TV went OFF for the night. Cable changed the game in the 80s and we wanted more and more content. Now content is wanted on demand and people are waking up like "why am I paying for 150 channels when I only watch 5?"

That chart lumps all their media networks together

You do know that Disney owns like 20 different channels

If we're talking just espn them no thats not their biggest money maker
So you failed to read the headline of the chart
