I really can't make sense of these moves. Their product will definitely be worse and when the complaints come in, they will be scrambling to put a new lineup together. How is any of this attractive to NBA execs?

Might be more about them showing that they're willing to a willing broadcast partner by shaking things up more than anything.

If the word that the NBA was dissatisfied with ESPN's broadcast teams and studio shows, it's better to mostly blow things up and throw shyt at the wall than keep the original setup.

What a fall off

Spears , Clark and RG3 getting Stephen A work, doing all these shows from NFL LIVE, FIRST TAKE AND College Football for RG3 as well

Should have kept a lot more talent

i disagree. seems like the talent who sign on with ESPN want and understand that they're going to be working across multiple shows/games.

and i think this is a strong Monday Night Countdown lineup with SVP, RG3, Marcus, Ryan Clark - fun personalities, insightful, don't just give you the regular babble all the time, etc.

don't know why they still want to throw in Larry Fitzgerald and Alex Smith on occasion but maybe it's part of contracts they have?

also, wonder if Mina Kimes' pregnancy put the rumors of her being on the show on pause...
