Holy shyt. While situation encapsulated in one image. The people on screen show you the result, and the subject in the bottom third shows you how we got here: hard to make money when your content is shyt.

damn Suzy Kolber, as long as she's been on ESPN she should have enough bread to retire and live comfortably

Mike Greenberg somewhere doing the birdman hand rub, because I can't imagine a situation where the Monday Night Countdown job doesn't just go to him.

But those two getting clapped was inevitable. Realistically speaking, for the average person, there's absolutely no reason to watch Monday Countdown. It's the same highlights they've been running since Sunday night, the same talking points from earlier that morning, and Kolber and Young were the older and most milquetoast parts of the show. The show mostly doesn't matter outside of the occasional fukkery clip of Schefter that picks up steam online.

I thought the Jalen and jacoby show was awesome. Should have seen this coming when they let Jacob go
last show that felt like i spoke to my demographic on ESPN. crazy how back in 2016 my WFH days i had a good 3 hour lineup of ESPN shows I'd let rock in the background. now i watch zero ESPN outside of NBA games i actually care about
