You know Hunter and Stephanie must be loving this shyt right now. Just waiting for Vince to die because he's got this company in a nosedive.

You can spin it all you want, but WWE Network came FIRST and the fact they are giving out their primary, non-televised asset says a lot.

Strongly agree with the bolded, the last WrestleMania I thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end was WM 31, that shyt was 5 years ago, the quality of PPVs (minus Takeovers) have been going down since 2015, I jokingly call them Sunday Night Raws now cause they don't feel like PPVs at all. Big mistake if they do this.

Those first 2 Wrestlemanias on the Network, 30 and 31 were incredible events.

Especially 30 bc they had a pre-show every day before the show. Really showed the possibilities of the Network. They scaled it back a little for 31, then eliminated it altogether since then :stopitslime:

Also, they're actin like we haven't been patient in waiting years for them to upload Nitro, years for some less obscure wwe shows, years for other feds footage.

And now they wanna turn their back when they STILL dont have all the stuff uploaded that fans want.

There's a WCW Saturday Night from 1996 that was in Montgomery that I'm STILL trying to see cause it's the only TV taping ever done in Montgomery from WWF/E or WCW, had Sting, Liger, DDP, and Benoit on the card but they've barely uploaded the Episodes :snoop:.

Word, like we were saying in the other thread only wrestling nerds like us give a fukk about the back catalogue. For everybody else the Network would have NO draw whatsoever.

i'd say its the other way around.

the WWE is a nostalgia company that relies heavily on past stars.

the vast majority of their longtime fans support them out of a habit they established as kids. its their past-time.

Actually, Vinny Mac always over promises and under delivers, so he could trick Fox Sports into using their app to stream the Big 4 ppvs for a hundred mil or so. Then once they realized they got fleeced cuz nobody is spending major money on a ppv anymore, they end it and Vince goes elsewhere. A traveling circus indeed.
