I've pretty much concluded that many of these activists and pundints are agents esp after taking a look at BLM's website last year.:hhh: in adding to doing my own research on different govt. Operations done in the past.

You can go to any hood in this country where mostly black people lives and you can see that ain't nobody being oppressed by black men:heh:
Not by a long shot, outside of perhaps name calling and isolated incidents that apply to every other race.

Even the middle class neighborhoods and the quasi suburbs black men generally aren't controlling the economic landscape and infrastructure to really oppress anybody.

Hell even the quasi structure of the dope game is a shell of its former self :skip:

Most of these nikkas are killing over petty disputes, retalliations or isolated incidents related to drugs.

I know I'm all over the place but TLDR: the Black community is a free for all and black men aren't running anything to oppress anybody so many of them(black feminists and lgbtq) must be agents.
dr. tommy curry, yvette carnell, tone talks and many other actuual black academics have pointed out that its usuall non AA and "middle/upper middle class" (i use quotes because there is no such thing as class in the black community- just varying shades of poor with no access to the means of production and the uber rich used to hide them) absorbing the liberal ideologies of suspected white supremacist professors and academia, and trying to apply it to black men. you should watch yvette carnells interview of doctor tommy curry, he breaks it down with facts, data and stats better than i have ever seen it addressed before.

like you said, the boule psy-op is in full affect with these negroes.

anything not addressing white supremacy is a distraction.

Your first mistake was asking a bunch if MEN why Women have a movement to discuss issues that effect Women.

Black men have no power over anyone not even themselves.
Does saying that make you guys feel any better about your circumstances?

Too much energy is wasted criticizing why and how Black Women are successful and not enough energy put in to right the situations. Rarely is there ever discussions on the Black men struggles and what can be done to address it directly by Black men.
Maybe you should try launching a masculinity campaign of your own?

Modern Womanism was designed to create space for Black women to discuss our unique experience.
The purpose varies depending the woman or group of women.
Most often it's to address the issues we face as Black women in and outside our community.

You couldn't have legitimately looked this up and not found this information.
There is an entire sub forum dedicated to it on LSA as well as a wealth of knowledge online produced by Black women.
You're first course of action should be to look up Alice Walker, Bell Hooks, since they coined most of the womanist lingo used today. Zola Neale Hurston, Maya Angelou are also great at capturing the essence of Black AfricanAmerican women over the decades.
If you insist on looking for a male perspective on this I'd suggest you read the book "Soul On Ice" and see inside the mind of some Black men during the era of the Black panther party. It's amazing that the average Black person doesn't know that over 2/3 of the party were female.
Elaine Browns "a taste of power: A Black Woman's story" is a good read on the Black women's experience as well.

If you want to take it wayyy back we can speak on Sojurner Truth and Harriet Tubman.

I seriously don't understand Black men's obsession (Especially Men of African American heritage) with this alternate universe where Black woman didn't rock the cradle, create culture, and defy odds stacked against us.
When was this mythical period in American history where we as Black Women didn't work, didn't innovate, didn't adovacate for ourselves?
This whole we got this idea of feminism from white women is probably one of the most historically inaccurate and belittling things a Black man can say about African American women.
If you did the most basic of research you'd know that mainstream feminism adopted ALOT of ideology from Womanism and not the other way around.
No shade but a lot of this #GetMarriedBrehs, Black#MGTOW and etc are examples of Black men parroting White Male talking points that are unique to THEIR experience.
Starting initiatives that address the Black Mans image, and specific set of issues.
I long for the day when Black men will use their power for their own betterment instead.

Above the fray.
After reading that deplorable article in the root and watching a few vidoes on the topic, I've even more confused than before and asked myself one simple question......

What is the purpose of black feminism? Like what's their end goal?

I mean, I completely understand fair wages for women and safety from unruly men (real street harrassment) and I'm completely for that.

But all this talk about black men oppressing them does not even take into account the fact there really is no infrastructure built and ran by black men in order to even "oppress" black women in the first place

To help fuel white supremacy; that's the purpose. They are given the spotlight then form like vultron but are probably less than 1 percent of black women.
Nah they're a good 25% of (Western) women in general now...even if they don't fully embrace the ideology, they follow women who do, they use their slang terms and they share/discuss the articles.

You are clearly aware of what you're talking about and have done independant research but the same cannot be said for the majority of Black feminists. From what I've seen you are a minority.

They do just parrot white feminist talking points and try to copy and paste them to Black men even when it clearly doesn't fit.

GMB is literally just either jokes or caution regarding getting married is a situation that applies to all men regardless of race but you're right about the rest. It's not that deep.

I think there is definitely a need for Black womanism given the status of Black women in society but it should be the kind that the people you named speak of. Regardless of the (some times warranted) critique Black women get, they are in my opinion holding Black people together and their voting habits are crucial.

You don't even know about womanism if you didn't you wouldn't keep referencing white women and what they have going on.
Who are all these problematic Black feminist? Are they African American women?

What kind of Womanism is that?:gucci:

I said black FEMINISTS. I've seen most black women and women in general refer to themselves as feminists not womanist. Do most Black feminists parrot points or no?

I'm aware theres a difference which I why I said I agree with womanism and it's vital for young black women but don't agree with most feminism points.

Yeah but Womanism is an African American concept.
If you have issues with Some of the talking points SOME Black feminist use identify what it is that you have issue with.
Address those specific issues and stop Labeling it "Black Feminism".
Black feminism encompasses Black women of ALL cultural and economic backgrounds.
Black feminism encompasses many ideologies about Womanhood and femininity.
If youre speaking about African Women make that clear. It you're speaking on West Indian/ Caribbean Women make that clear.
The Black experience isn't monolithic and neither is the experience of women.

That's a question you should answer.
You said "Black feminist Parrot white feminist talking points."

My question is, what are these talking points that you have issue with?
What are these feminist ideologies that you such an issue with?

We need a new word for "Black women who have bought into the system of White supremacy."

A lot of Women who have bought in do not consider themselves feminist even if they are doing just as much harm.
This is true.
Black women have created a language with a defined vocabulary to specify the particular obstacles in our experience.
I think Black men should study Womanism and do the same.

Feminism and feminity is not an enemy to Black men!

Black people aren't in a position to be misogynistic and defiantly shouldn't practice Misogynior.
The unwillingness to learn or follow Women is destroying our community.
