Are only light skin girls pretty? I don't understand the comments
That's not what people are saying.

Kenya Moore has pretty privilege
Tisha Campbell has light skin privilege
Beyonce has both
Saweetie has both

But her statement suggests it's only pretty privilege she has.

light skin privilege is not a thing unless you are hasley light or malcom gladwell light
we already know about being handsome/beautiful I don't know why people are denying it
I've seen the handsome/pretty dynamic take place firsthand
light skin and dark skin doesn't mean shyt in racist areas.
This isn't true. Who are the most famous black politicians?
Obama - light skin
Kamala - light skin
Condoleeza
Colin Powell - light skin

My brother too and he steph curry color.
shyt even my own mother. She’s ayesha complexion. She used to tell me how teachers would treat her better than her own sisters who were dark skinned (my aunts). One even complimented her complexion and said it’s unique and not like the rest of “us.”

This was in the 70s/80s in Gary Indiana to add context.

Of course "pretty privilege" is real.
However, Saweetie doesn't do anything for me.

lmao what light skin privilege does Tisha Campbell have

Female lead in 2 iconic sitcoms. She's not talented like that. It's no coincidence she played the wifey in Martin and the more attractive, darkskin woman Tichina played second-fiddle and got ugly jokes.

Essence Atkins has light-skin privilege.

You call yourself 'Master Teacher' but you haven't dropped a lick if knowledge yet. Stop with the unnecessary deflections and huffing and puffing.

You history of selling weave doesn't give you any substantial insight into the reason why most black women buy European hair. You distribute a product that's it.

You ready for the truth ? The truth is alot of black people suffer self hate. Wow who would've guessed right ?

Hence why things like bleaching creams, over usage of photo filters, hair straighteners and makeup are thriving spaces. But you knew this already so let's not waste time.

Most black women sadly to say hate their natural hair, (if you don't believe me you can visit LSA and take a gander) and buy European and latin American styled or authentic weave to appear "exotic" and distance themselves from their African roots.

It has nothing to do with wanting volume lol or whatever dumb shyt you were told.

It's the equivalent to when a chick who's always in makeup says she just "like to do makeup" :mjlol:

It's called denial. Alot of women don't even realize they hate themselves as this stuff is engrained in society as the norm.

So yea, I won't clown you for selling weave or call you names but don't be so naïve.

Take care

Man look there are pretty dark skin women but they need better promotion. The thing is when folks try to do it they get pushback... saying why is this the standard and this and that. Its like bytching for the sake of bytching at times.

Once again, I said black women do not need weave

everything else said you is a deflection and a false narrative, you are arguing something I never said

also black women way natural hair more than weave today, but you don't talk to black women or females in general

only where weave is normal is in the ghetto, because most of those hoes are bald headed, because their hair wasn't taking care off as a child

got hood rats who can't braid hair right fukking up they scalp, or jealous hoes who sabotage a girl hair when she a kid

weave is actually less popular than its ever been

huh, I mean those roles are iconic because of her, she made them iconic

who else can be gina besides her lmao

Martin picked her to be Gina, so where's the privilege

Light skin privilege is suppose to be something white people give to light skin people right lmao

So everything she worked for, she didn't deserve, she got it because she was light skin right

You sound like cacs who say a black person only achieved something or got job because of affirmative action
