We still doing this or..........?:patrice:

I’m getting my first check of the year on Tuesday.

Good reminder.

Everyone remember to set your accounts ASAP so that you pay yourself first and you never see the money you can't play with. Let's get 2018 off on the right foot.

I've had about 25% of my income assigned to long-term financial goals since 2015 and setting a strong financial base is the best feeling in the world

I’ve never saved a set percentage. I just randomly transfered soke dollars here and there into my savings every other week.

I maximize my Roth and save an additional $300 on top of that. Not to mention I take 10% out to go to my 401k.

But I hope people actually do this. Just starting is the key. Get out of the habit of spending!

This thread is right on time for me. My savings account is in shambles from helping my family. While I don't regret helping, I regret I didn't cut them off earlier. :francis:

Anyway a few months ago I changed my deductions so a little more goes into my retirement and more goes into a separate savings account. I already had an acorns account which I really like. I'm not putting much away now but hopefully once I kill a few bills come tax time I can get my account solvent again.

I'm gonna look into qapital as a way to maximize my savings

With my new gig...I can pay all my expenses and bills with one check, and take play money out of that. That second check comes in and just sits in the bank. I'm able to save tons now.

Still not buying a car. Still not wasting money on a bunch of luxury items. Im just scheming on a fly ass condo w/ a balcony, or dope ass house built out of shipping containers with a terrace and balconies.
