Wish we were told to save 10 - 30% every check in high school and college. I was told to save, but it is such an amporphous term......save what? how much? when?

I've never heard 30% in savings and investments, but imagine if this was imparted in every speech about growing up to all black kids, even those just starting to work part time in hs and college. Like just a regular motion....15 years after their first job....just racks on racks on racks.....now its easier to build and politic among 20 - 30 year old blacks.
