This weekend is grind time for my consulting shyt. Might go out for dinner with wifey but other than that just working and lifting. Hopefully I can eat clean.... gonna thaw a turkey breast and have that with some stuffing :ohlawd:

Brought a handscale... FINALLY gonna see what's up with the machines at my work gym. I've been trying to figure out what the plates weigh for years. Gonna go scope shyt out at lunch.

190 flat

Did 5x10 upper body yesterday Got sooooo close on bench. Was supposed to hit 190x50, only got 48 (only got 8 on the last set). Everything went as it was supposed to.

Figured out why tricep pushbacks are so much harder at home.... cable interferes with the rack when I'm far out. Time to bread out the die grinder :demonic:

Hit my target on 5x10 legs today. 245 for 44 on squats, 235 for the same on SLDLs. Took like 2 hours :dead:

Hit heavy bench upper today... cleared 3x6x230, time for 235. Felt good, everything else went as it needed to.

Got shyt flipped around with food... kinda :dahell:.... had my shake before the workout, workout went fine. Now I'm looking at this big ass plate of food like :wtf: I don't have the appetite for all this shyt. I'm debating trying this again tomorrow.... if I can survive heavy lower day on a whey shake and candy bar that might be the move when I'm above my weight target and more importantly when I'm cutting. This could make jumping right down to 1900-2000 manageable :lupe:

Heavy lower.... hit 13x325 on squats and 13x335 on sumos no problem. Last set of squats I shifted load off my quads to my back a little more than I like though. Making a mental note not to do that next week. Felt awesome though.

Weighed in around 190.8. Weird cause I had a big and late dinner last night. I guess my water balance is correcting itself. Anyways going to do my best to do some cardio tomorrow and Friday. Not making any promises.

Didn't bother with my spreadsheet, had to get in and out to beat nikkas back for parking so just logging here for later...

Military press: 120x10, 10, 6 (still skruggling :mjcry: )
Low HS rows: 3x10x95/side
Tricep chain extensions: 5x10x55
Preacher curls: 3x10x65, 2x10x70 (someone had the 65s at the beginning)
Lateral raises: 5x12x30/side (don't wanna go to 35s. Might just keep going up to 5x15 :lupe: )
Weighted crunches: 5x11x100

Weighed in around 192.4 or something.... gotta do cardio tonight and shed this fukking water.

Weekend update

Weighing in the mid 192s. I keep saying I need to get back on my cardio grind.... this week is probably no good. Too much shyt to do. New year :mjgrin:

Volume upper went great Saturday. Cleared 5x10x190 on flat bench without much fuss. Everything went like it was supposed to. Sunday was interesting. Last week I banged my left knee on the low row machine at my work gym. shyt was kind of irking me. I got through 47x245 on back squats will pretty much no issue. Lost my straps so I couldn't do SLDLs :( But later that day my knee really started to bother me. By the time I went to train wifey that night it was pretty bad. Like a 3-4/10 on the pain scale. I took some painkillers and rested it yesterday (no cardio :scumbag: ) and now it's feeling a lot better. Still on the fence on heavy squats tomorrow though.

Found an app to track my workouts... thankfully I can port all my shyt over, I think. This will make things a lot easier

Went to do heavy squats today.... look in my gym bag.....

No belt :damn:

Said fukk it, went for 14x325 anyway. Had a little scare warming up, but fully loaded I was OK. Kept it tight and hit depth like I was belted. Loaded the fukk out of my quads since I didn't have the stability to shift load to my back.... def feeling it. Went great though. Left knee is still bothering me a little bit.... we'll see what it does over the next few days.

Got military press upper tomorrow

MP upper went OK.... MP is still stuck at 115x26-27 though. I think I'm gonna switch to sitting... we all can't be Matt Ogus :francis:

Diet has been going off the rails a bit. A little stressed with this end of the year project shyt. Got a little time so I'm gonna ride right now.

Cardio worked.... weighed in at 189.6 yesterday.... but that was a few hours fasted + empty. Rode Thursday I think... dialed back the sprint speed on my riding intervals and was able to ride longer. Gonna keep at it.

Volume upper went OK. Ha, just got an Xbox One, and my elbows are hurting like a few years back. Now I know what caused that. I have a new wheel coming in so that pain should end. Good thing about this is I can do overhead tricep extensions again. I thought that was what aggravated it.

Crunches are working but I think I need a harness. Also gotta get new deadlift straps.
