Im not excited though. Scale can be wonky. If I'm still down tomorrow then I will take it more seriously. I had to finish up some moving stuff this weekend... those stairs man. I'm really thinking about hitting the treadmill on max incline for a little cardio. Same time tho I do want to get back into this biking shyt heavy. Which seat do I take :sadcam:

I think I am gonna buy the oly barbell and starter plates (2x45/35/25/10/5/2.5.... 290 total) and start doing my leg workouts at home. Trying to figure out how to schedule everything as well. Might start hitting the community gym to try that treadmill shyt out. We are in the second stage now so cardio has to come up. I want to hit it at least 4x/week at like an hour a pop.

Chest arms back

Flat bench is still basura, I'm struggling to put up 225 for more than 4-5 reps. Again everything else is still on point though.

Debating... I gotta do something with lower body, either cardio or weights. I guess I can do a light ride tonight and see how it affects heavy squats tomorrow since that's the kind of regiment I'm hoping to implement in this second phase of my cut. If I can ride without it killing leg day recovery I will be so golden.

Like I figured scale was being weird. Weighed in at 203.2 this morning which was not bad. Pretty low for wet weight. Gonna try and ride for an hour tonight, hopefully hit 12 or so miles. Just take it easy

10 mile ride :whoo: It was rough. Last 3 miles were all hills. I think next ride I will do on my trainer and just take it easy. Hit it in about 40 minutes. I feel like I will be faster on the trainer but we'll see. Heavy squats tomorrow :lupe: If I do OK tomorrow then I know I can go a little beast mode with riding. I think I may just do 2 squat days instead of 3 but on the 2nd one I will do Zerchers and front squats. Gonna cap off food today most likely with either sweet potatoes or maybe some pasta :patrice: That cardio flexibility :blessed:

Leg day didn't go too bad. Hit 2x8x275 and then my quads were done. Then got through most of 3x10x245 on RDLs and finished with calves. Gonna give my legs a rest tonight and see if I'm up for a ride tomorrow night. Then ride again Saturday. Hopefully hit 30 miles total.

I think going forward though I will only bike on days AFTER leg day. Give my legs at least 24 hours before I do weights. Gonna have to do 2 bike days in a row (Thurs/Friday) to hit my 3 days a week. This can work though, my legs feel OK.

Rode 13 miles on the trainer yesterday. Took me an hour. Had to break it up into 2 chunks as I had some issues with my bike but the second leg was 40 minutes. I got too excited on the first leg, have to stay at that 13 MPH pace. I think I am just going to do 2 long rides each week. Not a big difference between 10, 13, 15 miles.... my legs feel like jello after no matter what. That will also ensure I won't be doing any riding the day before a leg day

:leostare: @ my scale. I did just learn a trick to get it to reset between weigh ins so it should be accurate now. Still holding water and weighing in in the high 203s. Im not gonna drop calories or anything though. I can see my waist is smaller and vascularity is increasing. Just waiting for that whoosh :mjcry:

Upper body party today... gonna see how that ride affects me. Kind of hits arms a little bit too as I need them for support.

Hit UBP yesterday. Went OK but not great. I would say a 5 out of 10. Biking definitely has an impact on my triceps. Bench and strangely enough TPDs were both a little weaker. I was also a little sleep deprived and low on carbs. Had about 20 oz of chicken as my pre workout... probably should have had carbs instead. Everything else was decent though. Gonna see how front/Zercher squats go today. Will def carb up beforehand.

The cardio does seem to be working though. Weighed in at a consistent 201.8 this morning. I look flat as fukk though, cant maintain a pump for shyt (might be the low carb shyt though). Again just gonna see where I am at the end of May, still keeping calories in the 2000-2200 range. Debating switching to 2 UBPs a week instead of the 3 upper body days I'm doing now :patrice: We will see at the end of the month.

Did legs today. I would rate it a 4/10. Only did front squats. I'm getting more comfortable with them. Its apparent that my core is the limiting factor though. I do 185. Jumped to 195, core gave out :merchant: I didnt lose it though. I think I need to give it time to let the motor pattern solidify. I could not get my RDLs off at all. Was only hitting 245 for like 5-6 reps while I was banging out 10 reps no problem just Wednesday. I think on the weekends I will just do ham curls. I am a shyt high frequency DLer.

I guess tomorrow is my next ride? Not sure if I will do the trainer or go outside. Man outside is brutal, I will probably just do the trainer.

Rode for an hour/13 miles yesterday. I feel pretty good. Chest arms back today. Going to start with my all DB push shyt starting with heavy bench. Hopefully I can do 3x5-6x110/side. More realistically, probably 105/side if I'm strict with form. I decided I'm gonna get an angled Swiss bar instead of dumbbells

The first ones I saw were too expensive but now I'm seeing em in the $200 range. Gonna get a rackable hex bar as well for shoulder press. Makes more sense than ordering like 50 10lb plates and heavy DBs are too fukking expensive.

Home gym prob wont be done till end of summer but once it is I'm envisioning a 3x/week full body split. Gonna keep riding too, I like it. Hopefully next summer I will be conditioned and fast enough to join a cycling club.

Good day

Hit chest arms shoulders. 85s on incline DB bench felt great. 65s on DB military press were so so. A little too heavy. Might stick with 60s and just triple up on form. Rest of the workout was good. Came home and rode my 13 miles. I need a new seat, my shyt is fukking cement. Gonna handle that this weekend. Should be good for some MPH. As soon as I feel like turning up the pace the discomfort catches me. I feel like I can do 14 MPH.

Coming at a price though. Strength on major lifts is down another 5 or so lbs. Its taking its toll. I'm in survival mode now, especially on bench.

Same time though, this weekend fam has been over so I've def been over my target calories. So I feel like once I get back to normal I will dip under 200 no problem. Its funny cause I look carbed up and am def holding a little water too. We will see though.

Did upper body party yesterday. Went about as expected. Thinking about switching back to BB for main bench again lol. Im just having fun outchea :smugfavre:

I think ironically I may need to be a little looser with the diet. I'm still gonna ride hopefully 30 or so miles a week, but with how Im feeling these days I might need to incorporate some refeeds to keep metabolism up. We will see how June goes. shyt got me weaker :mjcry:

Not too much damage. Weighed in at 200.4 this morning. I must have slept weird on my right arm. Elbow is bothering me. I hope I will be able to get into the gym today to do chest/arms/back. It's a real whirlwind at work.

Aesthetics competition on the other board I'm on ends next Monday. Was thinking about water/carb/sodium cycling but I won't go that hard. IDK we will see.
