4x6 bench today. Hit 3x6x225 and then struggled through 6x230. Not gonna get greedy, I have time. Got greedy with 3x9 OHP too, only mustered 2x9x140. Tris were fried by the third set, couldn't get it off. Decent workout... took longer than I would have liked though.

Had a little elbow tendonitis in my right arm which is different. Hopefully it doesn't get worse/persist... should be fine though.

Hoping this DOMS is just from coming in hard off of a 2 week break and not me doing too much. It's not a big departure from what I was doing before though. We'll see

Got upper back tomorrow and then I'm off Friday. Then Saturday is the mega full upper body workout. Will def sleep in nice and rest up well for that.

Next year I'm really gonna try and do something with upper and lower body every day. Gonna ride my bike every day I do upper body work, and try and get back into swimming. Summer time I might drop back to only benching 2x/week. Hopefully we will be in the house by then so I can do full upper body workouts again too.

First heavy squat day in like 6 weeks

Kept it simple and light... 3x5x275. Instead of jumping 10lb every week till my form goes to shyt and I hurt myself, gonna take my time. Add like 10lb a month which should be slow enough. Hopefully will hit 3x5x315 legit by the end of the year.

My schedule is gonna be all fukked up this week. Can't work out at work until Thursday, and tonight I have to cook for the week and do some cleaning. This would be a great time to have a home gym as I could do my do while I took care of business. All I'm doing today is 5x4 bench and lateral raises anyway so it shouldn't be too bad, but still. Just thinking through what I have to do, tonight is 5x4 bench, tomorrow night will be upper back and biceps, Thursday lunch will be 4x6 bench and then Thursday night will be front squats and heavy deads.

I was up at a quarter to 6 this morning and I felt ready to take on the day. I think I will start going for rides in the morning before work. Just my quick little 7 mile loop like 2x a week. See how deep into the winter I can do that, and then start my cut Jan 1st. Thinking about getting an indoor cycling trainer to get on my cardio wave right away.

Did 5x4 bench last night. Hit 245x4 for 4 sets and only got to 3 on the last one. Probably gonna stay around 245-250 until my next deload. In laws were in last weekend so my sleep has been kind of shyt... need to catch up this week. Gonna go H.A.M. on upper back tonight, and then do 4x6 bench tomorrow during lunch.

Ordered True Nutrition whey isolate protein. Should be here either tonight or tomorrow, I don't fukking know. Haven't had whey consistently in like 2 weeks.

Hit upper back last night and 4x6 bench today. 225 is going up no problem. Got greedy and tried 230... got 6 and then only managed 5. Gonna stay around 225 for like 2 more weeks on this too. Only did bench and shoulder press... right elbow is still bothering me a little bit so I didn't bother with tricep extensions.

Weighed in at 187 this morning. Wasn't looking too bad though. If I drink a lot of water I retain less which leans me out a little bit and I'm guessing helps muscles retain a little volume too.

Gotta hit front squats/heavy deads tonight and them I'm off tomorrow.

Hit front squats and deadlifts last night. Yesterday was intense. But I read somewhere about Norwegian athletes going to the gym twice a day to hit different body parts. Gave it a whirl. Anyways worked my way up to 145x10 on front squats and just did 3x5x275 on deadlifts. Going back to conventional deadlifts... had some weird issue with sumos and in any case I'm probably not gonna be in PL competitions any time soon. Just want to keep my back strong. Not a bad little session though.

Def feeling more comfy with front squats. Been getting the strap position right. I might need longer straps to get it 1000% but it's getting better. Shoulders also don't ache now and I'm positioning the bar better. It's coming together.

Had my "upper body party" today. 3x9 bench, 3x5 shoulder press, vertical and horizontal plane rows and all accessories (triceps, biceps, shoulders). Longish workout (~80 minutes), but good energy thanks to a caffeine pill. Hit 205x9 on my last 2 sets of bench, which is good. Felt good and relatively easy. Hoping that will be around 225 by the end of the year. Dropped back a little bit on shoulder press but high key I don't really care about shoulder press. My main movement for shoulders is lateral raises and those are going OK. Everything is creeping up and I'm def getting bigger/stronger. Body is acclimating to the higher volumes as well.

One big help for my elbows... I play a lot of racing games and I finally got a racing wheel. Playing with the controller was kind of hell on my hands. I'm excited about that.
