185.2.... I think this one is legit, I'm seeing veins I never saw before :wow: Plus this is a good setup since today and tomorrow are cardio days. If I can stay on target I'd like to touch the high 183s Saturday morning. Might dig a little deep and go longer with the cardio.

That toll is adding up though.... went to a Gold's nearby since I didn't wanna bench home alone.... I got 15 out of 16 for 235, but squatting 315 felt heavy AF. I'm not gonna make the mistake I made on my last cut and take shyt out that's hard though, gonna stick with the program as long as I can. Got shoulder upper today, then I probably won't be able to touch a weight until Tuesday once I'm settled in Barcelona

185.6 first thing this morning.... 185 flat after a coffee purge. I wanna get into the 184s before I leave so bad!

Something is def up with the plumbing which is masking weight loss. I'd def be in the 184s if I was more regular. I'm getting my fiber in so I don't know WTF is going on. Coffee is always good to get things moving though, but I don't like to do caffeine too often.

Yesterday was mixed. I rode for about an hour, which was good. But I OD'd on garlic parm wings.... was probably 600-700 over yesterday. Had the coffee to delay breaking the fast to even out yesterday and today. Man, this caffeine is wavy... if I wasn't so busy I'd ride again now, feeling really good. I wanna get another hour on the bike tonight then it's off to Barcelona tomorrow

Early vacation report.... no weigh in, just looking fuller but softer. Did a 3x10 upper workout Monday, gonna do a 5x10 today. Not bothering with legs; we are walking 6 miles a day, which is good as the pigging out subsided once my sleep patterns normalized. The day we traveled was brutal.... 26 hours awake :merchant: We bike though :scumbag:

Vacation update

Been able to get in the gym somewhat regularly..... but I think my RC injury is popping up again :( Feels like something is tearing in my armpit/near my bicep when I bench. All these carbs got a nikka looking :blessed: though I'll tell you that. No leg work yet cause I've been walking like 5-6 miles a day but shyt's gonna calm down. I might hit volume lower tomorrow. Prob just gonna do shoulder press the rest of the week, let my chest live. Always 2 steps forward 2 steps back with fukking bench... shyt's pissing me off

Another workout yesterday.... RC shyt is still touch and go, so I decided to try something different.... GVT superset of chins and dips, just body weight. Got through 9 sets, then did 5 sets of lateral raises. The pump was crazy. With all the carbs I'm having I was powered up like Akuma :lolbron:

shyt's calmed down with all the walking but the gym is so crazy crowded at night I don't think I'll be able to get in on the squat rack. I may still go in for a 3x10 leg session though... I have all my shyt (belt, straps, knee wraps), and I wanna keep the momentum going so I can get back on this cut with a vengeance on my return :demonic: Def curious to see where I am on the scale :lupe:

OK, finally back home from the trip. Gonna categorize weigh ins from now on... Raw (post pee first thing, typical) and Empty (post pee and poop, might be first thing in the morning but usually later in the morning on a weekend)

Anyway Empty weigh in today was 187.2. So with 2 weeks of completely not counting macros or properly hydrating 2lb is not bad. I think it's all water and glycogen... the pumps and fullness have been nuts but I'm def a little softer. No worries. I feel OK today, got 9 hours of sleep last night so I might fukk around and be able to lift today. Gonna try and go back on target today as well, I feel pretty good.

I've been taking progress pics but I'm gonna hold off for now. Wait till the end.

Lower volume workout. Can't believe how easy shyt is moving. Hit 255 for 8,9 and 9 on squats and stiff leg deads with ease. Probably had more in the tank to be honest.

Haven't been able to fully adjust to target calories yet, but I'm close. I think yesterday I did 2400; today I'm hoping to do maybe 2200 and close the window earlier for a truer weigh in. Oh yea, speaking of which I had a raw weigh in of 186.8 this morning. Not bad at all. Hopefully I can close the feeding window at around 7 or so. Back to the grind :demonic:

Got Olympic rings and I'm gonna switch to DBs for bench at the gym. Hoping having free range of motion with my hands will help alleviate this fukking RC shyt without requiring me to stop horizontal pressing completely. I just got over some RC shyt like 6 months ago :comeon: I don't think it's the RC shyt officially anyway, it feels like the coracobrachialis. I still wanna try heavy BB bench, hope I'm not making a huge mistake

Man adjusting back down to target calories is fukking rough. My metabolism is on fiya right now, hungry AF. Gonna probably spend this week gradually tapering down from ~2400 down to the 2100 I was hitting before.

Hit power upper.... barbell bench is out of the question, RC was getting aggravated during the warmup. BUT dumbbell bench is definitely in play. Looks like I will have to lop ~10% off my barbell weights so 6 rep bench will be with 105s (I was hitting 235) and 10 rep bench will probably be with 90s. Got ambitious and tried 110s... I got it up but it wasn't pretty. 105s will be better. Chest actually feels nice.

Also got the gymnastic rings coming tonight.... I will fukk with dips a little bit, but it's more likely that I will have to build some heavier dumbbells for the house. I'll start with 90s but leave room to probably go up to 110. Again I think part of what's aggravating my shoulder is my hands not being able to move on the barbell. I really don't want to stop doing horizontal push movements though; my chest is looking very nice right now, and I definitely saw a big difference as soon as I came off that long no bench stretch. Maybe I need to vary.... do one cycle with barbell, another cycle free hand.... or vary within a cycle, whatever I have options.

186.2 again. A little over target yesterday with no cardio so that's fine. Going to try and keep it cleaner today. What really put it over was dinner... too much pasta. No worries

Power lower today, going to take it easy and go for 3x5x315 all around. Volume upper was a breeze Sunday so hopefully that carries over.

186.2 AGAIN. Not worried, still in transition, plus we got cardio tonight and tomorrow. Psychologically I just want to dip back into the 185s to feel like shyt is moving again.

Hit heavy lower yesterday..... so weird. I hit 3x9x255 on squats like nothing this weekend. 6885lb-reps of volume. 3x5x315 on squats was brutal. I was not controlling the weight at all, just coming up on the stretch reflex at the bottom. But that was only 4725lb-reps of volume. So now I'm starting to think it might be time to bush heavy squats and just do my 3x8-10 shyt twice a week. It's weird but being in a deficit is hurting my intensity way more than my metabolic capacity. Might bush heavy bench as well. I feel OK with that because I rebounded quick as fukk from my last cut with NO back squatting... I'm good to rep 295 or so just off GP once I'm fed. So I'm not worried about squats. Bench is another animal but I'm rethinking my whole approach to chest.

Any fukking way we got shoulder upper today.... should be pretty straight forward, though with this new job my schedule is completely out of whack. Got an hour long meeting right when I'd usually be working out... so I gotta wait that much longer to break the fast :francis: It's a light workout though so no worries, I could probably do it fasted if I wanted (but I won't). That's def gonna take some getting used to. shyt's moving thoguh.

Yesterday was pretty much a perfect day execution wise. Upper shoulder workout went well. Calories were a hair under target (2100, shooting for 2200).As a matter of fact, when I got home wifey had made brownies for her and her mom.... I had a few bites but probably 1/10th of the 800 or so calories I EASILY and USUALLY have done. I had to say out loud to myself "nope, not gonna do it, staying on target". Did my 40 minute ride... wasn't as quick as I'd like but we still did an indicated ~420kcal, and most importantly I didn't munch on anything immediately before or after. Was definitely feeling that lipolysis... still feeling it. If we can duplicate that discipline and execution today I'll call this a successful week. Again it's like I never left... the process still works.

Only question now is... when do I stop :lupe: Since I basically had 2 weeks off I should be good for another 6 weeks at an aggressive clip. 2.5lbs/week over that time will put me in the 160s :merchant: But I'm going to have to dig deep! That might also ding my strength a little too much. But fukk it we'll see. Truthfully I think if I can get down under 175 and keep my legs strong I'll be happy. That will be a big improvement over the last cut. But those extra 5 lbs........ :banderas: W/e we will just see what happens.
