A certain someone might have had a say in that.
Didn't watch but saw the reactions. One thing that stands out is, they're both babyfaces. Usually when you have these squash title matches, it's a babyface and a heel, think Warrior/Honky Tonk and Kofi/Brock. With two babyfaces, either you want one to turn heel or you want one to look like shyt compared to other. But you can still do that exact same thing in a ten minute match.

She has rank, but does she have THAT much pull? I don't think she does. Vince has been on some other shyt lately, I don't see her swaying him. I don't see how Becky thinks she'll come out looking good. They essentially wasted her return. How everything went down screams Vince.

Which is why it was stupid as hell. All those can do is cause a rift within the fans, and both Becky and Bianca’s reactions could suffer. Remember when the crowd was anticipating Daniel Bryan at RR 2014 all night after he lost to Bray(I think), and the number 30 entrant was Rey Mysterio? They shyt all over him and it also affected Bastia’s response and booking. That was a terrible decision last night.

It feels like they're continuing to book her as a female Conor McGregor. Like you said before she went away and before pandemic she was already on some annoying cocky shyt coming out with the big glasses and crown and now she comes back and defeats her opponent in seconds (McGregor style). I just dont know if they are doing that to turn her heel or they think thats what a babyface is because they are behind the times and think McGregor is still the same McGregor from 2016
