Yup, Cena got the right idea and left so he could do what he wanted. Same with Batista who only worked with WWE a total of 7 months since leaving full time in 2010.
Sasha leaving to pursue acting would be wild because that girl came in as a capital 'M' MARK. Like, the kind you figured would stay in the WWE or at least the wider business forever. So if she left, it would be proof the E killed her love of the business, to an extent.

Wow congrats to her. WWE could potentially lose Roman, Becky, Charlotte and now Sasha to acting in the next few years.
Charles can't even cut a convincing promo, so how is she going to make it as an actress?:mjlol:
Yeah, Firefly Funhouse or a show like it would be great on Adult Swim

He'd also be a good horror actor imo.
Bray arrived too late, because he would've been making plenty of money when Rob Zombie was on his horror run.

Such a MAJOR look for her. Not gonna lie I’m lowkey proud of her :to:

I remember last year there was like 3 or 4 weeks where Sasha wouldn’t be on TV, and Bayley’s excuse was cause she was recording a “rap album.” When in reality it was a cover up and she was out filming her episodes.

So proud of her dead ass. And honestly, out off all the women in that division. Sasha is the one that can crossover and go mainstream.

She dead ass doesn’t even need to go by Sasha Banks. She can legit go by her real name Merchades Varando. Hell thats a money name too.

I think they have a couple women with potential to move on and do other things in the mainstream, but Sasha is definitely the one with the most potential. She's got the look, she's approachable, she's already got a fanbase and platform, she's got connection in her cousin Snoop, and she's a Black woman in a time where Black women have more opportunities than ever.

That last part may work against her as we all know how they like to do us (especially our women), but she's got a better chance than most if she decides to go that route.Rock, Cena, and Batista all prove that if you're willing to take a chance on yourself and put in work on the Hollywood grind, you can do well for yourself coming out of the WWE. It's all a matter of deciding you want that and making a conscious effort to get the hell away from Vince.

What memorable roles does cena have? Ferdinand? The Suicide Squad is like the only project involving him that I'm actually hyped for.

I've seen it said on here a couple times that WWE is becoming NXT for Hollywood, and honestly, I think you'd be a fool to go in as a wrestler and not look at it like that. Well, maybe not a fool because the business does need people who just want to work in wrestling. However, WWE is in the unique position of being the bottom rung of the entertainment ladder while also being a huge potential springboard into other things. You have to consider it at least an option for later as your career winds down or you just want to do other things.

The ironic thing is, though, that even getting to the level where making the switch is a viable option requires you actually be a good wrestler and put in work getting to the top of the field. Rock, Cena, and Batista are all greats with the former two regularly showing up in the conversation of all time GOAT,* and even with all that they had to grind it out and work their way up to bigger and better roles. People who come in purely to use WWE to get to something else tend to not get that far.

It would be interesting to see if Sasha decides to keep going with the acting thing because we haven't really had a big female star cross over yet. (Closest was probably Chyna, but that never went anywhere and unfortunately her entire life took a bad turn.) Starting in a hot show like The Mandalorian is a big deal and better than most WWE stars get. Especially since she seems to be playing a decent role and perhaps just not a one off appearance. No telling where she could go if she manages to make an impression.

*Not to say Batista doesn't get mentioned in those conversations. He just doesn't come up nearly as much as the other two.

None. lol Cena is still much in the early phase of his Hollywood career. He doesn't have any major roles under his belt, so he's not a proven name like Rock or Batista. He's still trading on his WWE fame, which is why he hasn't completely broken off from the company yet. The Suicide Squad is his biggest project to date aside from Bumblebee, and who knows how that is going to work out for him. It's very likely he's going to get killed off because it's Suicide Squad lol.

Nonetheless, he has been getting consistent work in Hollywood in recent years, so people must believe in the guy. He just hasn't had that one memorable role yet.
