But when his character arc in part 2 had jack to do with that, and instead some champion of the giants that nobody cares about.. he serves no purpose other than making us feel happy for Kratos being a proud dad watching his only son that made it.

I don't think we have to move on from Kratos but, if we did, Freya would be a better lead than Artreus

Freya a great companion man, they should just let the next game be Dad and Step Mom finally figure their new relationship out
