why is everyone upset about the Manu thing, do you really think he was going to skip 2 summers, he missed last year and helped us get a ring, he is at the very end, so im not surprised by this at all. Not only that if we keep diaw and mills and the rest of the role players play anywhere close to what they did this past year, manu will be needed even less by the spurs next year

Problem is it's the same story every title year...the Euros start feeling themselves, play in the summer, then burn out. Tony broke down in the playoffs two years in a row. Manu in 08. If the whole goal is to finally repeat, why do something to jeopardize that?

I understand where you are coming from but you are looking at it from the standpoint of a fan, like I said these euro players take it in a major way to play for their country moreso than american players, im not surprised it is what it is

There are 2 huge parties going on to mark the 1 week anniversary, I hope yall are coming out and if you arent in the greatest city and instead live in Austin, Houston, or Dallas, fly or drive down you still have time

For the first time ever, the Spurs put four players among the NBA’s top jersey sales during the postseason, with newly-minted Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard joining mainstays Tim Duncan (third), Manu Ginobili (eighth) and Tony Parker (10th).

Jersey sales were totaled via NBA.com from April through June. In addition to Leonard making it for the first time, Duncan jumped 11 spots from last season.

top 15 NBA playoff jersey sales
1. LeBron James, Miami
2. Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City
3. TIM DUNCAN, SPURS
4. KAWHI LEONARD, SPURS
5. Kobe Bryant, L.A. Lakers
6. Dwyane Wade, Miami
7. Stephen Curry, Golden State
8. MANU GINOBILI, SPURS

-UCLA's Kyle Anderson is as unique as you'd expect him to be on paper. Ranking below average in scoring efficiency relative to this group due primarily to his group leading 18.7% turnover rate and group worst .87 points per possession in transition, Anderson's status as his team's primary ball-handler has an obvious impact on his numbers. Using only 1.4 spot up, .7 cut, .8 off screen, and 1.1 post up possessions per-game, all of which rank well below average, almost a third of Anderson's possessions were isolations, easily the most of any player in this group, as he was charged with creating for himself and others as a sophomore. Finishing at an average 1.18 point per-shot rate inside, but showing massive improvement as a jump shooter, scoring 1.01 points per pull-up and 1.41 points per catch and shoot attempt, Anderson is yet another extremely unique small forward prospect who will be fascinating to keep track of in the coming years.

What makes Anderson truly special is his prodigious passing ability, which made him one of the most entertaining players to watch in all of college basketball. He led all prospects in our Top-100 rankings in assists at 7.4 per-40 minutes pace adjusted, the highest rate of any player that size in our database since Evan Turner, Luke Walton, and John Salmons.

Givony describes Anderson as, "arguably the most unique prospect in this draft class, with an unprecedented combination of passing, rebounding, 3-point shooting percentage and basketball IQ."

Don't look now, but the book on Anderson makes him sound an awful lot like the perfect cog in the Spurs' system. In fact, he sounds an awful lot like Boris Diaw.

:ohhh: :blessed:
