It's not a reboot. They're continuing to use the same episode numbers picking up from the original run. It's just aimed at a more "mature" audience. The reboot is actually good?!
Still re watching everything. I'll catch up sooner or later
I probably need to re watch everything again so everything is fresh

Have you not been watching??? this shyt has been legendary....
I hope jack makes it home... He's really lost all hope....
Rewatched the episode. The last 10 min really felt like Jack was in Friday the 13th fighting 7 Jasons .
Something else I picked up on is that when Jack used the Tuning Fork Sword, he didn't decide to jump until the very last possible second...like he was thinking of just blowing himself up. Another example of the "Forks in the Road" theme of this episode.
The music and setting of the circular tomb room kind of reminded me of this:
This must have been an intentional reference.
Hope you guys are supporting it by watching it on cable!!
Cus I'm not

I would say the only thing not as good as the original is Aku, but that's mainly because the original actor created an all time great villian.
Edit: Actually, I'm wrong about the episode numbers!
They jumped from episode "52" in Season 4 all the way up to episode "92" in Season 5.
