Preview for the next episode looks too legit. That monologue

I think it's supposed to be the Jack in @Great Scott 's AVY from the Guardian episode but Jack keeps running away from it = running away from his destiny. It's all a part of his PTSD, survivor's guilt.

I just rewatched Jack and the traveling creatures.

To summarise, Jack is told of a time portal and encounters various creatures who test him and then point him towards the portal. Each time Jack asks about the portals the creatures look at his sword and comments about the chosen one.

When Jack gets defeated by the Morpheus looking dude (Kevin Michael Richardson), the portal tells the guardian not to kill Jack. Then it shows Jack in the future, with a beard, as a king.

I hope that this episode is a precursor.

Yeah, the cult leader chick (one with Azula's voice) is their mother. She was literally shown giving birth to them near the beginning.

The Davis Robot has awesome techniques, however he got careless and underestimated Jack. I like how Jack straight up killed him without saying anything.

I don't blame him dude has been in the future for 50 years suffering with PTSD with some dark swordsmen mounted on horse watching him, I wonder if the swordsmen is the reason why Jack lost his sword?
