Samsung vs LG who make better TVs

When I was buying TVs back in 2009-2011, Sony & Samsung were considered the best brands. I'm not sure in 2019.

Back in them 2009-2011 days I remember it like it was yesteday.

Sony Bravia's were the shyt and if you wanted top tier, that was the TV to get, no question. Its black levels were unparalled.

But then the 4K wave came and they got lost in translation....nobody don't care much about blacks if your 4K game ain't on point and your TV ain't ultra thin.

Breh I remember back in those days, Sony & Samsung TVs were so highly thought of that on tech forums people tried to save money by keeping track of which non-Sony/Samsung TV models that had Sony/Samsung panels inside them. Do they still keep track of that shyt?

Panasonic makes the best OLED tv's. But they're not sold in the U.S.

In terms of LED tv's Samsung make better than LG. But for the price of their midrange QLED you can get a LG OLED, which is
arguably better.

I like Samsung too but, I think that I like that smart remote the most...that shyt just worked on all my consoles.
