Mine isnt getting hot but I don't have a lot of apps running...No signal problems either for that matter...
Even when charging, the iphone6 I have for work is hotter than my Note...
Maybe I'm one of the the lucky ones...
This recall news does have me paranoyed as fukk though...i usually keep my phone charging on the counter on my side of the bed overnight...but I keep the Note in the kitchen on a marble top just in case it decides to go jihad...

I'm talking about those who do not want to exchange their devices saying they're fine because their phone was made in China. I don't think Samsung has made any distinction and they have recalled ALL Note7 devices. They wouldn't do that if it was that easy to distinguish.
It's just a common sense thing and not wanting any prolonged problems.

Verizon cancelled my order on my note 7 with the dead pixel. Maybe the dead pixel on the edge is sign that its about to
They asked what phone I wanted while I wait for the new Note 7s to become available. Didn't want the Note 5 no microsd, so they're sending me a S7 Edge while I wait to get my Note 7 back
They didn't say anything about returning this one back with the dead pixel though
Maybe Verizon hoping my Note 7 explodes and kills me to get me off my grandfathered unlimited data plan
