I didn't bite. I went from the Note 3 to the Note 4 (arguably the best Note). I got my memory card slot, I got a good processor, I got the removable battery, I got my IR blaster, I got a good screen, I got good battery life, I didn't spend close to a thousand :blessed:
This Note7 is nice and all but the battery life is pretty weak. I get battery life on part with what I was getting on the Galaxy S7. Usually a Note gets better battery life or so I was told. I still don't have a screen protector but I got one I'll try from Amazon on the way. The curved screen is just a gimmick and it makes it difficult to get good screen protectors. There's no reason they can't put edge apps on the flat screen phones seeing as how the S6 & 7 have the same function to activate Samsung Pay.

I got a case but I'm not rolling with a screen protector...

Only way to fukk the screen up besides dropping it is keying it or taking a knife to it...

I still have the note 4, I want the 7 but i long as my phone is still working i dont need to upgrade
I use a Note5 for work and my personal phone is the Note7. The 5 gets better battery life then the 7 by far. I use my work phone way more and at the end of the day it has just about as much battery left as my personal phone which other than MP3s and audiobooks I use nowhere near as much. The 4 with it's replacable battery and SD card was probably the best phone they put out in the series.

To be fair if you turn down the settings to match note 5 default it will be the same if not closer I would assume. I cut off the always on screen feature and in comparison to my last note the default phone brightness is much higher and it has a higher max brightness. My battery life is noticeably better without the screen on feature alone and it's not a necessary feature for me

Besides the eye scan, and upgraded 's pen... .meh.. . I'll still rock with the Note 4. I picked it up last week off this Asian dude who upgraded to the Note 7 for $200 practically mint condition.
