That's just how it is. The iPhone gets apps first, gets newer versions, and typically gets better versions than Android phones. Something like Touch ID is universally supported on iPhone at this point. On Android most apps still don't support the fingerprint scanner. What are the odds that any apps inside the next year and a half support the iris scanner?

On my Galaxy S7. I had to disable Swiftkey and use the Samsung keyboard because Swiftkey slows my phone down. Not an issue on my iPhone 6s.

Breh you can lock any app, folder, etc with the Iris Scanner right out the box.

Actually you can't I just tried the feature and you only got a select few apps you can lock in the secure folder. That's disappointing because I wanted to lock my google photos app and you can't...only the gallery smh

Nikka what, I have my mobile banking app locked. That shyt allowed me to choose any app I wanted to.

Edit: Photos is one of the few apps I can't add, and I'm sure there will be a fix soon if someone brings it up. Majority of my apps on that list though

There is a specific way to get your photos in the secured folder. I'll just type the process because the video that clearly explains it is like 40 min long(50 tips & tricks for your note 7).

In order to make your photos secure, you have to access the photo app inside of your secured folder. Whatever pics you take with the camera app outside of the secured folder will be visible. That needs to be refined though.... I agree that the first update should address and fix that.

After breaking down and using nova launcher I'll admit the note 7 becomes smoother at home screen and notification window. Hangouts is and Facebook still performs a little worse than iPhone but it's not too bad. I will be keeping nova at all times.

Touchwiz is a atrocity!

The games tools option and being able to record game footage when playing mobile games is super nice. S pen and it's options is definitely the selling point of this phone

I always do Nova (sometimes Action Launcher) of Touchwiz myself. It has always been a real nice combination. But breh, the way Secure Folder works with Nova Launcher is straight up flames! You can change it to make it look like a whole nother app. Or hide it so that it can open with a random gesture like a swipe up on some random app. A lot of people are raving about the gif creator but Secure Folder is the killer app I've been looking for.

Damn aod stopped working after update
Can't even access background or anything
All I did was put new layout then it says unfortunately aod stopped working so I go back to settings and i have still on but when I tap on it same message keeps popping up nor do I see aod when I lock my phone

I uninstalled the new aod update and reinstalled it

What's the thing I hear about nova launcher
I read about it and seen vids seems coo but I dont wanna do it if it takes away apps tho
