over half that speed test is memory management. The whole second round of it the iPhone doesn't have to reload apps because it stores them in 2GBs of memory. on my Galaxy S7 if I go in the app manager and close out all the apps the phone is still using 2GBs of memory. on what?

I don't even thing this is an Android issue. It seems more like a Samsung phone issue. It's like half the specs of the phone are being wasted on bloatware and unoptimized Touchwiz crap. The phone needs 4GBs of memory because it's constantly using half of it for background processes the user doesn't notice.

After breaking down and using nova launcher I'll admit the note 7 becomes smoother at home screen and notification window. Hangouts is and Facebook still performs a little worse than iPhone but it's not too bad. I will be keeping nova at all times.

Touchwiz is a atrocity!

The games tools option and being able to record game footage when playing mobile games is super nice. S pen and it's options is definitely the selling point of this phone

I'm sorry but that is a hot mess. You understand that an iPhone 6s has a dual core processor with half the RAM as a Note7? A Note7 cost almost a grand and it gets straight up lapped by a year old phone with half the processor cores and memory it has.

Pssst. Hey, I'm actually using my N7 right now. It's actually in my hands right now and it works flawlessly. I press an app, it opens, it works. The battery lasts me all day long on a single charge, I was even on a 3+ hour call yesterday and this b!tch wouldn't die. As a matter of fact, I always run my phone battery down to dead when I first get it to condition the battery, and the b!tch just wouldnt die. I had to run youtube videos on it at full brightness for hours to get it to do so.

I use Nova Launcher, customized to my liking, and still have all of the note features. I even use the always on display, retina scan, fingerprint, streaming Sirius all day, push email on 4 accounts, notifications on most of my social media apps, and when I press to open an app... no delay.

So, miss me with all of these anecdotal spec/performance videos. I'm using the phone RIGHT NOW and my b!tch is FLAWLESS!
