I've been thinking bout the pixel xl, read a article just now saying that it's coming to AT&T early next month ...hope so cause it's Verizon exclusive right now far as carriers ggo... I guess I could probably get it unlocked thru best buy as that's where I originally got my 1st note 7, but they're also the ones that fukked up and removed my installments... making it free... don't want to risk them noticing their mistake... the pixel xl and v20 seem like the only two decent replacements out our right now

What they did was just change who was pressing and shipping batteries instead of getting to the root of the problem. Correlation does not imply causation, and that is a hefty lesson they've learned having cancelled the Note 7.

My father in-law is an engineer for Verizon. My wife tries to get me to switch from T-Mobile every single day. But, I see no reason for jumping ship. 6 years ago? Yeah, probably. But, times have changed and T-Mobile has improved by leaps and bounds. Not to mention I love their customer service.

I went today to see what's out there, I liked the Moto Z with projector add-on, Im amazed at how clear it actually is and how bright it was. I hope more projectors become available for all phones. But I think im sold on the Pixel XL. I want my Note , but oh well. The Pixel looks dope and the VR headset is a nice touch as well.

I would've gotten the Moto Z. But, I think that's a Verizon exclusive? I know T-Mobile doesn't have it. I heard good things about it though, and Flossy Carter raves about that phone and it's mods. I literally went through the 7 stages of grief over my note yesterday.

So I stopped by the AT&T store this morning to turn my GOAT phone in for a downgrade iphone7 plus...

Sitting there playing with my phone one last time while they bring out the iPhone and as soon as she comes back I refused it...Couldn't do it brehs...

The dude behind the counter then buds in telling me I know that feeling...Hes not turning his in either, says unless it runs hot or you're getting terrible battery life I would hold off on returning it till Samsung or CPSC confirms what the problem...Also said if it explodes you can always get your money back...
but you can't get a limb back...

So I walked out still with my discontinued GOAT phone cuz I'm bout dat gambling with ya limbs life...

How's getting that info going to help though? There's no workaround for the design of the phone. And if you do some hack that makes it less prone to blowing up, you're going to be doing surgery on the phone since the battery isn't removable.

His point is we dont know if it is a design flaw, manufacturing error or bad batch of batteries...Meaning if the issue isnt a design and your phone isn't showing any signs of trouble then your device is likely safe...

So why rush to take a downgrade if your phone isn't showing any signs of trouble? I will be taking the phone back if it ends up being a design flaw but till we know for sure I'm going to hold on to it...
