Apple's problem isn't that their phones look the same. It's the fukking OS looks the same

why does it need to change? surfing the net playing games or using apps don't have anything to do with how the os looks.

Whether or not it should be changed is another topic. I'm saying the reason most people complain about the iPhone isn't the phone itself, but the OS. (Aside from the screen size not being changed for years)

I'm telling you breh, NOTHING will ever match a physical keyboard.

on my best day with my galaxy tablet, i'll never get anywhere near the realm of text speed of a sidekick.

it's also great to not have to look at the screen when you're typing.

They won't listen Breh. That Sidekick 2 keyboard was perfect. Good space between the keys, plus they copied the windows shortcuts ( ctrl+c = copy).

shyt was so good every deaf person I saw used a sidekick (there's a deaf community program near me).

Typing on an iPhone is disgusting. I'm doing it right now and the phone barely keeps up with how fast I'm typing.

People can tell me that they don't mind touching the screen or that they have gotten used to it but not for 1 second while I listen to anybody who says it is actually better. Having a keyboard is better. If not, then why do they try to emulate the expense of having a physical keyboard on your phone? It's just better and always has been. There are other downsides such as reliability of hardware and cost but in terms of just typing no competition no contest at all.

For me a touch screen is better..ive been using a touchscreen since the OG iPhone..i never looked back.

Secondly, from a hardware standpoint, phones with keyboards typically go bad faster. The slide action is hell on the ribbon that connects the phone itself to the LCD.

If it was better like you say it is..the world wouldnt be transitioning from physical keyboards.

...um...the human MIND is wired for tactile feed back...aka when you touch something it "touches back" or moves.

You will never be able to have the same type of accuracy that you get from a physical keyboard....its better. Might be less comfy, make ur phone more bulky but its better from an input standpoint. You can't "feel" a screen input....i bet you cats can't even text and look away from the screen...

we do that on laptops and remotes everyday. nikkas on here sometimes :snoop:

They arent transitioning because physical keyboards are worse, its because they add bulk to the phone and form factor is now a main selling point for cell phone manufacturers.

I miss the keyboard from my old LG Voyager. I could type on that thing without looking. Doing that on a virtual keyboard would have autocorrect acting a fool on you.

It's not. Keyboards still exist check out the Surface with the keyboard attachment to address the typing concerns on the iPad. There's prototypes out there where the screen actually forms buttons so the user can actually touch them.

I actually do type and look away from the keyboard. The problem i found with the physical keyboards is that the quality varied greatly. On one phone you would have mushy, unresponsive buttons, then on the other end buttons that were too damn hard..
