Thing is you have NBA players like Shaq and Jamal Mashburn who invested they money wisely that they own multiple franchises and real estate. Look at Floyd he is smart with his bread. His real estate portfolio is worth $1 billion! :whew: It's right that a fool with his money is apart. There is alot of athletes that get and alot who dont. It's kinda like life.

I love how coli financial analysts who never made anything close to a million dollars are experts on how a millionaire Spends his money:dead:
How so? If a person who makes 40-100k a year can find a way not to go broke and be set for 20-30 years of retirement, seems to me they have more knowledge of managing money than someone who made ten's to hundreds of millions of dollars and can't sustain themselves 3 years into retirement. Only one side looking stupid in that scenario and it ain't the "coli financial analysts" :sas1:

Just cause you are good at shooting hoops doesn't mean that you are good at handling money. Dudes are not even involved in the negotiations for the money, it's often two people with "normal" salaries that negotiate those.

We have cats here making 50k a year and have money for 20-30 years, are you telling me that they don't know more about money than a dude that has 28 million and can't keep it for 3 years? :jbhmm:.

He good. He ain't broke.

Last I heard he was scraping the bottom of the barrel.

He wont be broke forever..his lawyer or someone saw how fast he was blowing cash and put some clause in his contract or something that he can only get some of his money when he hits a certain age..

Yeah I think when her turns 50 he will have access to like 50 million dollars. But he is good now. He is more mature now. He doesn't party no more. He just spends time with his family like a regular degular dad in his 40s is supposed to do. Plus the press of him being broke is being pushed by the same sports media that went on him for the way he dressed.

I remember an old boss of mine (white), saying he hated Iverson cause he was a 'thug':aicmon:
He liked Vince Carter cause he looked like a good safe negro.

Seems like all these athletes and entertainers are feeling it this year. The next group better learn investing fast.

Why is the excuse "well he's hiding his money" considered smart or good?:pachaha:
if some random poster on a message board thinks he's hiding it what do you think the actual people looking for money are thinking:skip:
Ya'll thinking his creditors or just going to forget about in a year and DS will be able to buy that new Bentley and floss on instagram:russ:

He might be laundering money.

Rich people do it all the time.

You make it seem like you spent it or lost it in an investment, but somebody on the inside makes sure you secretly get it back (for a price) and you don't have to pay taxes on it.
