You can make good money overseas
One of my neighbors sisters is dating an overseas cat. I'd guess he's making in the strong six figures.

Wonder what the minimum payment is on a $384k balance? $62 or so?

A lot of athletes accumulate debt/bills that stretch over the life of their playing careers and beyond. It's like if you sign a 5 year 25 million contract you get a mortgage, car note and credit card bills that will be with 10 million over that same 5 year period.... When you take out taxes, fees, living expenses, and impulse buys, if you can't pay off that debt unless you sign a new contract. It's a self inflicted Ponzi scheme. And if a player stops earning and those debts aren't lowered or paid off completely it's :to:
You mean if you spend more than you make, you're fukked? Even more so if you were spending lavishly and suddenly lost all income? Tell me more wise one. You say take out taxes like they're some hidden fee breh. They get paychecks the same way we do.

I don't think most ppl realize that even though they are making these huge million dollar contracts. what they ACTUALLY take home is much much less.

after you factor in taxes, agents, lawyers, accountants....and that is ALL before the money even reaches your hands you are looking at about 30-40% off those millions

25 million contract is really only like 12 Million in his hands.(which is still a lot)
but that is over 5 years or whatever. so really its like 2.5 million per year(which again is still a lot)
but when you stunt, buy expensive cars and jewellery(and lots of other stupid shyt that depreciates quickly), RENT big ass houses and condos and put your team on. that money goes FAST.

I love how coli financial analysts who never made anything close to a million dollars are experts on how a millionaire Spends his money:dead:
Breh I've never made a million, shyt I probably never will- I make around $50k. There are simple things you can do when you have a high salary, to make sure it's very difficult to go broke. I put 12% of each of my check in a 401k, these dude's gotta have some shyt like that?

Plus all these sports players should have pensions.

If you don't understand net vs gross by the time you 20 you're fukked. He got drafted at 18 so may have an excuse.

However, he's more than likely hiding his money. Anyone who's dealt with child support or knows someone who deals with child support knows that game.

The edit on this has me :dead:

[6/25/15 Edit: Scouting report and comparison to G.O.A.T. were written while Stevenson was in high school and assumed to be headed to Kansas. Lessen learned, never compare anyone to Michael Jordan. This was 2000, the site was just getting started. Go watch a tape of Stevenson in high school, he was incredible. One of the most spectacular 17 year old wings you could ever see. Not going to college had a catastrophic effect on him. It seems everyone enjoys dis-crediting our expertise by bringing up the year 2000 DeShawn Stevenson comparison to MJ. We never went back and changed his comparison after it was originally made. Apologies to MJ.... Hey the "Sports Leader" compared Marshawn Brooks to Kobe Bryant just a few years ago.The other large NBA draft site compared Greg Paulus to John Stockton. Nobody wants to bring that up?]

He hiding his money

Exactly but the media loves these black athlete goes broke stories.

If deshawn was a big time dope dealer the first comment that would come up is he was hiding money.

Also this kat at one time had a ATM in his house. For all we know this kat has 2 million stashed in some garbage bags in his closet.

12% is a lot, you must live a modest lifestyle
