Shyamalan has made 3 good movies: Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs.
Everything else he has directed has been ass. That Will Smith movie will probably suck too.

the village was good until the final act where he felt he needed to be clever to out do sixth sense

I wouldn't be surprised but Jaden pulled it off with The Karate Kid without father.....like I said anything with Will Smith's name in it so he basically saved his ass. Many people gonna see that movie.

Thing about though is that Shyamalan is capable of coming up with decent concepts but he just shot his load too early and now he is just a fukk up.
That movie Devil was a concept he came up with but someone else directed and I thought that was an ok flick. Maybe that should be his thing instead of his directing his own stuff.
