Im saying they like most African Americans might have had some other ethnicity in there or maybe not. My fathers light skinned and he came from two darker black parents. Im lighter toned and i came from one darker toned parent and a lighter one. We have all types of shades. How you gonna single out a person who is brown toned and assume they mixed? And there ARE people straight from Nigeria, South Africa, etc that i know personally that are the same tone as John Legends parents. Africa a big ass continent breh.

shyt don't work like that breh. My granny (RIP) was white as fukk (light skin, Blonde hair, grey eyes) but if u look at me, you'd say I was 100% black.
