Well for all y'all folks who didn't live through the Abdul Rauf situation this is a similar situation and you get to live it first hand.

Now here comes the differences. Abdul RRauf had a guaranteed contract (however he was suspended for 1 game) So the nuggets couldn't cut him. He also played another year in the NBA after making a stand then went overseas for two years (many believed he was blackballed) before returning to the NBA for one season.

Kap plays in the most non progressive major league in American sports outside of NASCAR. They wrap their shield and the league with the American flag and US military. It is a league in which racism is far more open and is as conservative as the tea party. A league where it is open knowledge that black players and coaches have no power and are treated as used cattle (unlike the NBA). His contract is not guaranteed and he is a black QB (a position in which black men are known to be sabotaged and blackballed)

This is election year and for Kaps sake I pray one of these politicians don't use him as a sista Soulja moment.

Edit - Wanted to add that with the amount of civil unrest we have had over the last 3 years (which brings memories of the late 60s and early 70s) how does the league handles this?

This is a time where black fans can really make an impact especially at a time of so called awakening. They can say hey if you suspend kap or cut him we will stop supporting games. Think if black fans supported kap said you know what I am gonna call into direct tv or write the league and say you cut kap we will no longer buy the league ticket or spend money on games or jerseys.
