The problem is white americans see american history through "white american goggles".

white americans think america is absolutely perfect, because that's the propaganda they were taught in school.

for people that are not white americans, they realize the ugly history of america.

it reminds me of how white americans love the 50's and 60's so much and rave about how great of a time period it was, yet for anybody who wasn't a white male it was a terrible time in american history.

native americans remember how foreigners came into their country, killed and raped their people, and stole their country from them.

mexicans remember how americans forcibly took parts of america from mexico then called them illegal aliens.

The star spangled banner was written by a white supremacist and clearly wasn't written for black people, so why should black people honor and have pride for that song?

why should black americans love a country that hates them?

I hope Kap doesn't listen to these clowns. :snoop:

Victor c00n stood with his teammates, and after the Giants 21-20 victory over the Jets, he said he disagreed with 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick's decision not to do the same.

"I think, personally, the flag is the flag," he said. "Regardless of how you feel about things that are going on in America today and things that are going on across the world with gun violence and things of that nature, you've got to respect the flag.

"You've got to stand up with your teammates. It's bigger than just you, in my opinion. I think you go up there, your with your team, and you pledge your allegiance to the flag and sing the national anthem with your team. And then you go about your business no matter what your beliefs are."

Fixed.

I can't logically see how a black person would have an issue with this. The US has trampled over the rights of black Americans for literally hundreds of years so if someone doesn't want to stand for a "patriotic" ritual then so be it.

The worst part of playing sports was waiting for that stupid anthem to end. We would be in the gym warming up and everything stops for that nonsense. I would sometimes just keep warming up, and the looks I got were priceless.

When cacs can't say how they really feel they wrap themselves under the guise of patriotism. What they really want to do is call him an ungrateful nikka with the hard er at the end.
