For some I agree. For others, they simply changed their opinion. Like Malcolm X, MLK and many other great people have.
Also, from the early days of the civil rights movement, whites were helping us so this isn't a new wave. There are white people that genuinely support blacks and their rights.
while i get what you saying, i agree with what the brotha
@BXKingPin82 is saying....right now is the chance/time for other brothers/sisters to make a stand with kaep...not saying they gotta kneel, but they should say something in support of him cause of the issue he's protesting against....but it seems a lot of them are waiting for that 'approval' from white people before they do it....like once they see whites approve what he doing, then they'll chime in too cause it'll be 'ok' to then....
i disagree with the reason why he thinks they havent...i dont think they are weak and spineless...it's more how they have been mentally conditioned....since birth, people of color have been taught/programmed 'white is right', 'whites are saviors', 'we seek/need the approval of whites', etc., whether consciously/sub-consciously....it's drilled in us in all aspects of life, from movies (always a white savior) to religion (blond hair, blue eyed jesus, even though that's not how he's described in the bible) to slavery (good ole abe) to civil rights (good ole jfk) to music (elvis, em, timberlake, winehouse, etc.)....the media plays a huge role in the conditioning....it makes sure to put the focus on the white(s) that are involved with whatever it is, so that shyt is ingrained in us.....seriously, they make it seem like the people of color that help with a cause are hazy figures, making it hard to identify/credit them, but recognizing the white(s) that help are crystal clear....that's why those (whites) are easily brought to mind when talking about certain shyt.....
....anyway, while some of us have been able to break that conditioning and see through the bullshyt, others havent and/or choose not to...as time goes on, we'll see which category people fall into....
