They asked Obama about it and he said Kaep is executing his constitutional right :ehh:
not only that, he said kaep is in a long line of athletes who have exercised their constitutional right to make a statement on social issues and that he'd rather see young people like kaep engaged, than the people who sit on the sidelines (no pun intended). he had to make the presidential comment about how protesting the flag gets some vets angry and makes it hard for them to see past that and hear you, but that's expected and overall his statement was some good shyt. kaep was not thrown under the bus, my man had presidential support.

Obama: Kaepernick exercising his constitutional right

:ehh:

Damn shame that a lesbian white woman has to come out a support Colin's cause,

“I am disgusted with the way he has been treated and the fans and hatred he has received in all of this,” Rapinoe told espnW’s Julie Foudy. “It is overtly racist. ‘Stay in your place, black man.’ Just didn’t feel right to me. We need a more substantive conversation around race relations and the way people of color are treated.”

I said before 80% of the NFL is black and only 3 players decided to support. :beli:

There were more. They didn't come out and protest by taking a knee but I thought Michael Bennett gave support. And a few others... The army vet on the niners that stood by kaepernick and offered to help in finding solutions.

Support if support. I'd prefer solutions rather than a show of force by more players taking knees and doing nothing else.

Give it a month and see how this plays out. I hope the issue doesn't go away without change.
