I'm trying to figure out the endgame for the moves we've made so far and can't find anything of note to take out of it. This has a  feel all over it :snoop:

Man we're going from division winner to fighting for #2...and that's me being optimistic....

The fukking Bucs are making good moves but we're losing so much shyt right now...we can't expect Gettleman to get lucky with signing these one year deals and they produce like he did last year....

We're looking great for the future just not the immediate future....maybe something big is in the works that we don't know about but I don't know how the fukk you release your franchise player and not have a fukking soul on the roster ready to take that place.

49ers had Young and TO ready to take over for Montana and Rice respectively...who do we have to take over for Smitty? McNutt?

I hesitate to say this because it almost sounds like I'm shytting on the man after he's gone but Smitty had 64 catches for just under 800 yards. Those aren't exactly irreplaceable numbers.

Honestly the guys we've lost so far are all average to slightly above average players. We just haven't signed anybody which is frustrating but at the same time understandable because we don't have much room to play with.

It was the offensive philosophy that made his numbers dip. Shula likes to play a ball control style of offense. Every offensive player's stats went down.

Steve Smith doesn't agree with you though...his numbers are falling because he's getting old.
"I am no longer a No. 1 wide receiver and I know that," Smith told Sirius XM's Bleacher Report radio on Thursday after the Carolina Panthers released him. "And I've been knowing that, and I don't have a problem with that.
