Yeah I've heard the Cam ain't too cool with Smitty too. If they're was some kind've friction and they needed to turn the locker room over to Cam (and Luke) I can't even be mad tbh.
I appreciate everything he's done for the franchise but I'm not sentimental about him being released. I just don't get it from a cap and team depth standpoint. I mean the production is definitely falling off but to only be getting 2 million dollars in cap space I don't understand why you're dropping the only WR under contract with any kind of value. Even if we do get Nicks and/or a rookie WR we're still gonna be completely thin at WR, with less chemistry with Cam at that.

The only thing I've seen is that Joe Person said that gettleman wants smith gone so that Cam and Luke will take over the leadership of the team.
