No more PAWGs, PLEASE??!!!??
And this was Feb 2022.
@Leasy told me Sony can’t sell a copy of a game to save their life
Never underestimate the resilience of Xbots. Reality bounces right off of them. They actively cheer the death of the console they paid $500 for, in favor of some cloud future. Should start calling them Azurebots.Yea, nikas thought they had one with this only to open the file and get punched in the mouth

they like the villain in the movie, after they start losing they detonate the the bomb to blow everyone up and still end up only mercing themselves
"Physical media is joever and will be extinct by next gen GUARANTEED, only dinosaurs buy physical games now. It's a literal waste of Sony's $$ to even manufacture disc costs cause no one IRL actually buys them." -Arcadium soothsayers
Do y'all never get tired of showing your own asses day after day on here? It's like a neverending competition to be as wrong and stupid as possible, on EVERY possible subject.
I’m shocked. To me Horizon was boring and the weakest out of the Sony exclusives. I can’t believe it doubled TLOU.Horizon is bigger than Uncharted
Is "Leasy Said" the new "TheColi Said"
Zero Dawn is far better than any Naughty Dog game to me.
Nintendo is still to be emulated when it comes to cultivating first-party IP, but this is very impressive from Sony. Lots of viable IP that will drive console sales going forward.
They need even more, though, what with the elongated development cycles their games go through. I think leaning into more Lost Legacy/Miles Morales type games is wise since it allows their devs to reuse assets and is a good way to add more smaller scope stopgap games to the schedule.
Nintendo's big advantage besides the obvious of having so many iconic IP and series is they have an audience for shorter cycle games that don't have to be in 4K with raytracing, like Mario Wonder which will sell 10M+, and they have a deep back catalog to farm out to second-party development partners for remakes. Sony tried that with SotC and MediEvil, but the roster is thin. They should look at Ape Escape, Jumping Flash, and Tokyo Jungle as possible remakes to farm out next, but that's not hitting the same as Link's Awakening, SMRPG, and TTYD remake, for example.
Still a lot for Sony to do first-party wise. They need to aspire to take the next step toward becoming more like Nintendo.
Before they turned Xbox 1 into a gameass machine and used engagement to hide their shyt numbers.I rarely feed into the console warring but could someone be fair and do a similar thread for xbox series/xbox one first party titles?
Covid impacting ps5 sales? Can’t think of anything elseLooking through these numbers, I wonder why Insomniac's internal projections for Rift Apart was negative. Looks like they've made 70M in profit on that game after dev costs from these numbers.
good
Rift Apart is still one of the best games to come out on PS5, and will still be when the PS5 gen is done
