Idk why people are in this thread arguing the intention of a character that's not how you evaluate who would win in a fight. You have to discuss their actual feats. Saitama doesn't have the feats to back up all these exaggerated claims about his strength. Superman would win and quite easily too.

What makes Hit a slow flash? And Goku not being the strongest in his universe doesnt mean anything. Alucard is by far the strongest Hellsing m but hed be a jobber in a lot of other universes. Dudes being OP in a weaker universe doesnt make them stronger than more powerful characters.


Based on what theyve actually shown, Saitama is nowhere near Superman, and current Goku is a universe level threat. If next week Saitama breaks a galaxy with his pinky or whatever then Ill def put him over supes, but until then...

He was jumping in between milliseconds in time, Flash can do that and react through attoseconds, look it up if you aren't aware of how much quicker that is. Those are two completely different things. Hit can stop time for X amount of time. We have no clue what his reaction time is, which is the Flash thing youre talking about.

Yes, Flash has the same ability plus speed stealing/granting, plus the reaction times. Some of these comic characters are beyond ridiculous.

I'm not here discussion Saitamas feats, someone else will have to do that. Only the nature of his character. And we know you've said what Gokus feats are, but you haven't shown them. Flash cant stop time, thats zoom. Again, theres no way to equate timestop powers to superspeed. We have no way of knowing whos faster.

A little bit of both. It's making fun of the whole indestructible good guy aspect of anime and comics. One Punch Man is really good though. Saitama just out here trying to climb the superhero ranks play video games and cook every now and then. He be minding his own business and shyt just falls in his lap.

A kick to moon during a fight is just a Tuesday afternoon to him.

It's a deconstruction of the superhero genre.

Saitama wanted to be a hero so strong he could beat anybody with one punch. It somehow happens, and then he has an existential crisis because no villains pose a challenge. So he's more interested in stuff like TV shows and catching stuff on sale than in fighting villains.


His one weakness tho is that he can't fly and doesn't have a car, so he's usually the last person to make it to a fight.
