your stars are but dust on my shoes
SR1 was the reason i copped a 360 and my first MP experience :ohlawd: its still one of my top 3 multiplayer games

:salute:
Same here man, I still remember the commercial with Julius that had me sold.

The community on that shyt was wild though. I fukking miss playing PTP with my crew or going solo and fukking shyt up in team deathmatch.

also, I ain't never forget my friend for preventing me from getting kingpin status on big ass chains or whatever. he ended up hiding in the parking lot map, effectively fukking up my chances.:to:

All Saints Row games were great to me, but then again I don't take gaming as serious as some of you do.

I personally thought GTA IV was boring
Right on brother. I've enjoyed all of the Saints games. Can't wait to play this one.

I mean, SR3 WAS enjoyable, mad ignorant and fun. It's just the complete LEFT TURN from SR2, as it pertains from the evolution from SR1 to SR2. You thought that with the commercial and critical success of SR2, Volution was gonna set the world ablaze with the direction from previous games.

The problem, tho, is that the writing was ass, the well placed drama was gone, and you were given too much too fast. SR2 made a lot of gamers LOVE it through it's storytelling (with a create-a-player, mind you) and balanced the ridiculous with the serious PERFECTLY.

The gangs were so great, where they were their own storylines, unlike SR3 when they got grouped up into the same supergang. Going after each one separately to take back Stillwater was fantastic, THEN needing to go after the corporation afterward??? It's like a well written Jason Statham movie about gangs

You were able to go after each gang at your own choosing, but SR3 made you do a linear story, while throwing in choices that made it feel like you controlled what was happening :hmm:

I digress. nikkas in here that know the series know the direction the franchise has gone. I'm just sad as fukk that they decided to focus so much on the ridiculous and left the seriousness in the bushes.

I could just sum this all up with two words: Johnny Gat :comeon:
