SR3 was fukking terrible to say the least and they took a huge step back with that one. The whole gang theme is gone. I only mess with SR1 & 2. They can keep this other bullshyt about fighting aliens and all that nonsense.
Volition should have just made a totally different game altogether if they wanted to do all that sci-fi stuff and stick to the original SR shyt.

SR3 was just ok, I wish I would have waited for it to go to $20. They took too many things away from SR3 that was in SR2.
SR2 had more side-missions like Crowd Control plus you weren't forced to do them, 3 (or 4 i think) different factions that had their own story line not that combined trash SR3 has, (not like this really matters) you could smoke and drink, and the story was much better than SR3.
bottom line SR2>SR3

Also remember this game is simply Saints Row 3.5.
It will still be based in a city that is totally wack compared to Stillwater, plus they still have the same cornball characters from SR3 and I doubt they will even mention Dex. Plus killing off a character like Johnny Gat - especially so early in the game - was a major fukk up.
I may only bother to play this if I could get hands on a free copy, other than that, I'm done with the franchise.

I totaly agree with this.
For me games are supposed to be fun. Everything else is secondary. It seems like games get too much praise for graphics/presentation and not enough praise for gameplay.
GTA will always score higher than Saints Row because of graphics. But saints row will always be the better GAME.
