No normal person would expect an island of black and mixed people to be anti-black, it's so strange especially when you hear about it for the first time.

But the entirety of Latin America is mentally colonized. They worship whiteness and hate anything related to black and indigenous people. Most Latinos who are mixed with black do anything possible to hide it. They straighten their hair, use lighter colored makeup foundation, and wear colored contact lenses.

But you can tell when a curly haired person straightens their hair, it's "straight" but the texture is heavier and different. Plus it's frizzy after they sweat a bit.
