Neil DeGrasse Tyson is probably the best answer in this thread along with Roker, Pharrell and Freeman. Tyson, in particular, is one of those rare cases where race is overlooked and I also have seen hardly any racist remarks in the comments to his videos just people praising him or discussion/debate on science.

Probably because the people watching those videos are intelligent, or because they know Neil is vastly more intelligent than they are. You can't really look down on an astrophysicist shiet. :bryantshrug:

White christians hate him for his aggressive attacks on "intelligent design". Hes routinely smeared as an 'Affirmative Action Scientist' (their words). Hes not safe at all, and hes recently spoken about how racism constantly threatened to derail his ambitions to become an astrophysicist, which, naturally, has further enraged that crowd.
