He has to stay on point as far as the message and agenda.
It was my partner that first pointed out "something feels off about Chance, especially when he talks about politics. It never sounds like a teenage rapper talking about politics, it sounds like a well trained politician"
I wrote it off as conspiracy theory until we were having dinner with one of our industry lawyers from Chicago and she confirmed that it's well known in the industry and Chicago that Chance whole career was jumpstarted by the Chicago Democratic establishment and has now been co-opted by the DNC as a whole.
Some people might not see that as a bad thing though. But, Chance isn't an artist, he's a well crafted propaganda project.
