AB is a better WR than Wallace.... Better hands... Shiftier...quicker (not faster top end)

Wallace typical good game is 3/120 with one catch amassing 65+ of those yards...

Understood AB don't receive the same attention Wallace does over the top... But he does more to get open in different ways... Ben likes him more too... And we ain't even taking bout the return game

what's the word on that

I been schemin to draft Sanders as a late rounder in my fantasy league, I think he's undervalued by a lot of people

I think the foot injuries made people sleep on him. I was extremely high on him last year. This year he's fully healthy and the ability is there. He was our leading receiver in the playoff loss to Denver

steelers stay shytting on they players this aint nothing new :yeshrug:

and Brown is probably gonna be asked to take a pay cut before the extension even kicks in like they do all their players :laff:

Ugh, why do people keep believing this myth. NFL players when restructuring their contracts don't take pay cuts. They convert per year money into the signing bonus(Pushing the cap hit out years later), which gives the players their cash upfront. While said team is able to spread it out over years to help with cap space in the near future..

And we have still not seen Brown's numbers break down...

Decision to extend Brown prompted by unlikelihood of re-signing Wallace. Brown gets &42.5m over 6 years, $8.5m to sign.

I still don't think this closes the door on Wallace coming back. He seems pretty happy for Brown

Any word on the guarantee money for Brown?

Looks like a good deal for the Stealers...

What I've seen
Steelers ink Antonio Brown to long-term deal | ProFootballTalk
Brown gets a signing bonus of $8.5 million plus a base salary of $540,000 in 2012. In 2013, he receives a $2.5 million roster bonus and a $2 million base salary.

In 2014, the salary increases to $6 million. It stays at $6 million in 2015 before increasing to $8.25 million in 2016. Finally, he receives $8.71 million in 2017.

this is so true, i'm a steelers fan and i had wallace on my fantasy team last year and there was at least 6 games where wallace went deep in the 1st quarter for a 50+ yard catch and i'm thinking :myman: bout to have a huge game, only for him to disappear for the rest of the game on some...

...type shyt while antonio was slicing up their defense with crazy ass one-handed catches over the middle and juking cats left and right for the rest of the game.

of course teams taking the over the top plays away played a part in that but that's when wallace needs to take the short stuff and if he ran crisp routes like antonio then he woulda gotten more catches, i do put some of the blame on bytch ass arians too (who was a horrible O-coordinator who shoulda been fired years ago but was saved because our offense did so well inspite of him and cause ben liked him) though who had like two plays for my nikka wallace, a straight-go route and WR screen in the flats. i think with haley, wallace could dominate but he needs to get his ass in camp.

and mike needs to understand if he wants that fitzgerald money, he needs to work on his overall game cause once that speed is gone, his career gonna be over if doesn't work on his route running and other facets of his game. seems like all these young WR's want the big money and want to be paid like they're the best, but they don't wanna put in the work to be the best. lazy ass nikkas...
