A little news today, supposedly the Kings met with Ryan Anderson today.

That would be a great look for us plus hes a hometown kid. I just hope it doesn't mess up the plans for Jt and T-will.

Marcus Thornton will thrive as a 6th man, dude can flat out score in bunches but he doesn't do much else which is why he needs to gun off that bench. Offense needs to be ran through Reke/Cousins with spot up shooters(Jimmer,IT) and a third guy to get touches(Thomas Robinson).

I'm reading certain places that he is on thier list as well. Im down for them to go after a cheap sniper. What type money is Wright looking for? Team got the best cap situation in the nba.... fukk the Magoofs!

So what, dude is also a black hole & ball stopper. Also gives up as many points as he scores. He'd be better as a 6th man. Use him in that Harden, Terry, Ginobili role. Plus he'd still get his minutes. The starting lineup needs balance. Can't have nothing but shoot first players out there with nobody that can D up.

Thats Thornton in a nutshell, he came in went HAM at the end of the year and dooped the team into a sick contract. Well done now come off that bench with a green light and a grin young nikka..

I personally enjoyed what he brought to Toronto, defensively especially. Played strong D, blocked quite a bit of shots. Doesn't have a jumper though and his handles need work. Wasn't too bad in the open court though. I believe the internal issues (smoking weed on a flight between games) which put him in Casey's doghouse, is what eventually got him shipped out.

Good pickup though, has potential.
