I got this text from my mom yesterday regarding an arrest I was tased in on 03/23 that I have court for today...and her words have been weighing heavy on my head regarding what happened to Walter Scott:
"Son that could have been u dead, u keep giving them the chance one of them will take u up on the offer, if u don't value ur life they don't either"

The fact that one specific group of people in America have to have an entirely different set of rules on how to live is sickening, frustrating, and sad. My heart goes out to the family (@Rekkapryde) but across the country too many black males have to deal with a justice system and law enforcement apparatus that aims to play executioner far too quickly without the same regard for life that other races enjoy without appreciation.

When is enough gonna be enough?

Truth. Liberty. And justice for all. Except if you're black.


Btw...I'm at break from work right now...and there's an anti Obama rally going on in front of the Federal building on wall street and mad white folk there are holding up signs with his picture adorning a Hitler mustache.

This video is golden though it shows pretty much everything we have been preaching about these bad cops.
He pulled him over for driving an expensive car and shot him in the back after he ran cuz he didn't wanna get tazed for no reason.
He than nonchalantly walks up to him plants evidence and handcuffs him talking about put your hands up but seemed to forget those words when the man was running. Mulitple officers see this and don't question anything and they go as far as to lie on the police report. 4 days go by and the cop still isn't charged and when the witness finally publishes the video they want to correct the "wrong" and they charge him as if they didn't have a man with multiple bullet holes in his back in their morgue and a cop claiming self defense. Only in Amerikkka I tell you.

All the shootings have been bad but this one really puts an explanation point on this ish. The Video is horrifying. I will never as long as I live understand the idea of racism. To hate someone solely for the color of there skin. Also the hatred of dark skin people in general. Why the hate? What is it about dark skin that bothers people so much? Could it be the Melanin? Who knows but it's illogical and because of that racism here I am 5 generations later and I can't drive my car.

Now I have to worried about a possible small driving mistake putting me in a situation with a cop. Then because the cop can only see my "Color", I can now be a risk of death. The Cop doesn't see me as a person, nope not as a human being, Not as someone's brother or Son. But me, a Color. A dark Color. It's a disease and a lot of people that suffer from it most will tell you they don't.
