There was no reason for him to reveal himself at all tbh. I think he wanted his 15 minutes, sadly. Tho him recording the video and coming forward with it came from a good place.. Don't think he realized that he is gonna be called as a witness when it goes to trial.

I dont know why he didnt brand a blog/website or something over the video. Why let these news channels get free footage without anything back from them.

Tased someone who was inside their house, dragged him outside and tased him again smfh.. Was not guilty of any wrong doing in the incident...

So really, he should've been fired after this and not even been a cop at the time.

Then, without warning, Slager pushed in the door, he said.

"Come outside or I'll tase you," he quoted the officer as saying, adding: "I didn't want that to happen to me, so I raised my arms over my head, and when I did, he tased me in my stomach anyway."

Givens said the pain from the stun gun was so intense that he dropped to the floor and began calling for his mother, who also was in the home. At that point, he said another police officer came into the house and they dragged him outside and threw him to the ground. He was handcuffed and put in a squad car.

Seems like these police forces are shielding officers like catholics did those molesting priests...bet you this cop has a laundry list of shyt about to leak out that shows a pattern of abuse.

They're going to run with that "there was a struggle" shyt till trial.

That's a strong possibility but it depends on what the media decides to run with..

What I mean is IF the execs at Fox, msnbc & cnn decide this case is picking up steam & will be a ratings bonanza like the GZ trial, mike brown/gardner indictment decison then once again they will start prognosticating over the potential guilty/not guilty verdict as if it was an upcoming superbowl, everything will become trivialized & it will go from a race issue to rep/dem to rich/poor back to black & white...etc

It seems a lot of these cases play out in the media & if this one does there will be plenty of people saying the guy shouldn't have ran & saying he attacked the officer in "the struggle". I'm sure SAS, don lemmon, barkley, new blacks & devout christians will be leading the brigade psychoanalyzing blacks & telling us to continue to extend our hand, pray & to forgive.

If my son gets pulled over for a routine traffic stop, should he talk shyt to the officer? Get aggressive waving his hands around and talking loudly? Take off running because the cop is wrong? Be a martyr for the moment until someone else gets killed?

File a complaint or indentify my childs body. I was raised that cops are looking for a reason to shoot so do your best not to be on the wrong end of that gun.

How would any of that benefit him when he already has 2 strikes (being a black man) against him. Black men are not equal to whites. If he was white and ran they'll just chase him. If he had a gun, they'll just call swat and negotiate.

Please inform me...if I have a son who was in this same situation....what should I tell him to do as soon as that cop pulls him over?
